To help folks develop confidence in their own ability and to build a body that makes them feel more like them. I want to help you use fitness to become the best version of you, and create nutrition habits that are sustainable and can evolve for the rest of your life, all while getting absolutely jacked along the way.
I spent most of my life struggling to accept my body and feeling confident in who I was. After college, I hit a low point in my life and on a whim I joined a kickboxing gym. Exercising lit a spark in me that helped cultivate new friendships, gave me the courage to start therapy, and helped me discover my passion for lifting heavy. Somewhere along the way, I came out as queer, and realized the role that fitness had played in that journey.
Fitness gave me an outlet to build confidence, the hope that life can get better, and the tools to develop muscle on my body in a way that affirmed my gender. I’ve been able to make peace with my body and ease some of the dysphoria that was causing the negative feelings I experienced as a child and teen.
These years of gaining strength, ditching diet culture, making peace with my body, and finding my passion were messy and emotional, and it wasn’t easy. I really needed someone to guide me and give me a defined path towards my goals.
That person is who I want to be for you! I pride myself in being empathetic, understanding, and kind. If you’re looking for a coach who will yell at you, I won’t be a good fit. I will always highlight your successes, remind you why you started and help you build your tool box for success in the gym. I use a science based approach to help you increase your strength and build muscle so you look like you lift.
